Book parade
It was book week and today we had to dress up as a character from a book for a book parade we were doing. My costume was Harry Potter.My favourite part was when our class went onto the stage because you could see all the people in the hall.

Sky Tower Trip
The trip to the Sky tower
On Thursday the 11th of June the year 3’s went to the sky tower because we are doing buildings for topic. When I got to school on Thursday I went to my class (room 9) and when I got there the bell went. Then we did the roll and had some morning tea. After morning tea we got on the bus to go to the sky tower.
On the bus my buddy was Alex. About 30 minutes later we were at the sky tower and we got off the bus. Then we went to watch the video and slideshow of how the sky tower was made.
Then we went up to the main observation deck that was my favorite. In the lift there was a glass floor so you could look down when you were getting further away from the ground it was awesome! When we got to the main observation deck a lady who worked there gave us a pencil and an a activity sheet to fill in. On the sheet there were lots of places in Auckland you had to name. I sat down on a bench with my other friend Alex from room 11. (I have got two friends called Alex ) We worked them out together then we jumped on the glass and looked down.
After that we went down some stairs to the refuge room it is gun, fire and earthquake proof. It is able to hold 900 peple. It has got water, first aid and coloring books to keep us occupied.
Then we went to get on the bus but we were to early so we went back up to the main observation deck and we saw a guy jumping off the sky tower. Then we went to get on the bus I felt sad.
